Debby Giusti is a medical technologist who loves working with test tubes and petri dishes almost as much as she loves to write. Growing up as an Army Brat, Debby met and married her husband--then a Captain in the Army--at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Together they traveled throughout the world, raised three wonderful Army Brats of their own and have now settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Debby balances her writing with family and church commitments, as well as occasional moments of wanderlust.
Winner of the 2008 Daphne du Maurier Award for Inspirational Suspense and the 2009 Write Touch Readers’ Award, Debby’s fourth Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense, COUNTDOWN TO DEATH, launched her Magnolia Medical series in October 2008. PROTECTING HER CHILD followed in May 2009. Watch for CHRISTMAS PERIL, in December 2009, which will feature her novella, YULE DIE, and KILLER HEADLINE, in February 2010. Her first three books, NOWHERE TO HIDE, SCARED TO DEATH and MIA: MISSING IN ATLANTA, are available in hardcover by Thorndike. MIA: MISSING IN ATLANTA was written when her son was deployed to Iraq for a second tour and is dedicated to our brave men and women in uniform. In addition to full-length fiction, Debby has written magazine articles for Southern Lady, Woman’s World, Our Sunday Visitor, Army and Family, and served for over twelve years on the editorial advisory board of ADVANCE for Administrators of the Laboratory.
