Biography of Debra Clopton

Debra lives in the small Texas town of Madisonville with her two teenage sons and their dog Bogie, a wrinkled Chinese Shar-Pei. When Debra isn’t writing she renovates houses and enjoys taking road trips. Long or short trips, she doesn't care, she just loves to put the top down on her T-bird and hit the open road. Much of the thought process involved in creating her books is born as she feels the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. Her love of a good ride inspired the creation of her character Lacy Brown who shares her passion for driving!

Debra's first book TH E TROUBLE WITH LACY BROWN Sept 2005 recieved 4.5 stars and a Top Pick by Romantic Times Magazine and has now been nominated for the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Awards- Best Inspirational Novel in a Series 2005
THE TROUBLE WITH LACY BROWN is also the lead book in the MULE HOLLOW SERIES.

AND BABY MAKES FIVE will be on sale April 1 2006. She is currently working on the 5th book in the series.
