Biography of Jane Myers Perrine
Jane
Myers Perrine’s third-grade teacher prophesied she'd be a writer. Many
years after that, she finally sat down and has five books to her credit.
After graduating from Kansas State University with a double major of English
and Spanish, Jane earned a Master's of Spanish Education from the University
of Louisville. She is a rabid sports fan and can be found watching both the
Wildcats and the Cardinals whenever their games are televised.
Jane is an award winning writer whose short pieces have appeared in the Houston
Chronicle, Women’s World Magazine, and other publications. She has taught
high school Spanish in six different states, moving with her husband George
whose ministries have introduced them to cities as lovely as Savannah, Georgia,
and as exciting as Houston, TX., and to many wonderful Christian people. In
churches, Jane has taught adult Sunday school, sponsored youth groups, attended
church camp, served as an elder, sung in the choir and led children's church.
Jane now lives and writes in central Texas where she lives with her husband
and Scooter the Wonder Cat and his little sister Maggie.
