Biography of Carol Steward

My favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1 "For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." Writing was never my plan, yet when God planted the seed in my heart, He wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I finally agreed, with the stipulation that He show me the way. What followed in the next few years was truly a miracle. Suddenly, my eyes were opened to this world of writing all around me. 

As a reader, it was to find enough books to read at an affordable price. When I heard Harlequin would be starting a new imprint of Inspirational Romance, another prayer was answered--and they offered to buy and publish my first completed manuscript. 

Five years and five books later, I know I'm exactly where God wants me to be. Love Inspired is a unique opportunity to broaden Christ's ministry. In a world of too much tragedy and pain, it's such a blessing to be able to share His truth and hope with readers. God's grace isn't just for those sitting in churches or those who have perfect lives, it's for each of us in all of our imperfection. His love covers our sins and gives us hope. I am so thankful that I said, "Yes" when God planted that seed. I can't wait to see what the next "season" will bring.
